hay guys, I gave darren a call last week to see how the process of getting a start date is going and he said phone back next week and there will be a definative answer. So i gave him a call today, he had a look on his computer and there is no job for me! absolutley gutted, as i now feel an utter idiot for telling my friends and family i have a job with sky only to look stupid. I really wish all the rest of you guys waiting that you get the job, because trust me you dont want to feel like this. Nice to meet all of you and BEST OF LUCK!!!!
Sorry to hear the news but someone could always frop out and the call still could come. Did you ask Darren if your details will be kept on file and for how long, no harm in asking.
I thought I read somewhere that if you passed the assessment then they would put you through training and that you'd have a job, I'm sure that's what I was told.
Wonder if it's a mistake or something, just hope that they keep your details and if there's a position comes up for you.
i know its not what you wanted to hear and i understand about telling friends and family does make you feel a bit stupid ,
i just which i could get a response from recruitment either by phone or email , my last email said there will be recruiting in my area soon sent about 6 emails and called loads of time with no response, please sky put me out my misery
and it's all over for me!
